About Me
My name is Michael and I’m the owner and chief editor of MichaelPCGuy.com. I’ve been working with computers for over 15 years helping people fix, upgrade, and optimize their PCs.
Growing up, I was always interested in how computers worked and enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. After high school, I decided to pursue my passion and got an Associate’s degree in PC repair and networking. I started my career working at a local computer repair shop, where I gained hands-on experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
In my free time, I enjoy learning about the latest tech developments and experimenting with new computer components. I’m always researching how to improve performance and maximize what your PC can do. Seven years ago, I launched MichaelPCGuy.com to share my knowledge with others and help people solve computer problems.
Whether someone needs help with viruses, upgrading to a new OS, tuning up their aging PC, or any other tech question, my goal is provide easy-to-understand solutions. I try to explain things in plain English without too much technical jargon.
Outside of computers, I like playing video games, hiking with my dog Benny, and spending time with my wife and two kids. On weekends, you’ll find me working on little side projects around the house or tinkering with new build ideas in my workshop.
I’m always happy to help readers of my site resolve any tech issues. Feel free to contact me with your computer questions – I look forward to assisting you!
